EVEN AS PRISONERS, WE ARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD ...
SOME MORE GREAT WISDOM FROM MICHAEL BURTON ...
In this prison journey you learn a lot about yourself. You must always be in touch with your “star player”. If you mishandle or misrepresent yourself, it's all on you. People really got to know themselves, and the people they lived with during Covid. The world was shut down and not only me, but everyone was confined. People got tired of each other the first week and tired of themselves the next. If you’re not in touch with your “star player” (the best version of you) then you’re not in touch. You must know your limitations, your weaknesses, your strong points, your love language, your surroundings and your personal goals. I know it's a lot, but you must get to know you, so you may love and accept yourself fully, so that others will. You have to know your worth... God does! That is why He sent Jesus to die for you and me. We are the righteousness of God. We can never allow someone to devalue us. I know every day you don't feel loved, righteous, forgiven, or accepted, but you are. You choose your thinking, before someone else does. Life is worth living because of God. I am in touch and in tune with my “star player” and because of it, I am at peace with others, myself and God. If you don't know where you’re going, you might not know where you’re at. Heaven is where the Christian is going and earth is not your home, we are pilgrims just passing by. Sometimes it takes time for us to surrender something, and to see all that God has for us and is doing for us. Consider something as small as turning down a few meals and liquids for a portion of the day, for prayer and reading Gods word to acquire direction and guidance from God… it’s worth it! In our journeys we are not alone, everyone that you want might not be on board with you on your journey. They might not be a good fit in this next phase of your life where God is taking you. Life is good, when you know that God is good!
